Congratulations to Theo Rochette, Pier-Olivier Roy, Charle Truchon, Charles Savoie and Jeremy Langlois and the Quebec Remparts for winning the 2023 Memorial Cup Championship! General manager and head coach Patrick Roy’s club defeated the Seattle Thunderbirds 5-0 in the deciding game. This was Quebec’s first victory at the tournament since 2006 and the third in their history.

Rochette continued his torrid pace from the QMJHL playoffs, picking up right where he left off with 6 points (3 goals, 3 assits) over 4 games, good for 3rd in Memorial Cup scoring. In recognition of his contributions, Rochette was named to the Memorial Cup All-Star Team. Roy, Truchon, Savoie and Langlois also got on the scoresheet,  with each posting 2 points in the tournament. Savoie also notched a goal in the deciding game to help secure the victory for the Remparts.
