Rochette, Roy, Truchon, Savoie and Langlois are QMJHL Champions!

On Saturday, the Quebec Remparts won the 2023 Quebec Major Junior League championship, with a thrilling 5-4, Game 6 win over the Halifax Mooseheads. With the win, the Remparts found themselves at the peak of the QMJHL for the first time since 1976. With the victory, the Remparts advanced to this year’s Memorial Cup.

Among the newly minted champions were Theo Rochette, Pier-Olivier Roy, Charle Truchon, Charles Savoie and Jeremy Langlois.

Rochette capped off a strong season with the Remparts, where he posted 106 points in 65 games (42 goals and 64 assists), good for 6th in league scoring, with 21 points in 18 playoff games for Quebec. Roy, a veteran of 39 playoff games with the Gatineau Olympiques and Remparts, posted 16 points (6 goals and 10 assists) across 18 contests. Truchon notched 10 points (3 goals and 10 assists) in 16 games, Savoie picked up 8 points (2 goals and 6 assists) in 18 games and Langlois tallied 7 points (2 goals and 5 assists) in 18 games to round out the victors.
