Jakob Pelletier makes NHL debut with Flames

In the midst of a tremendous season for the Calgary Wranglers of the American Hockey League, in which he has posted better than a point per game with 34 points in 31 games (15 goals, 19 asssists), Jakob Pelletier, the Flames’ 2019 first round draft pick (26th overall), made his NHL debut as a member of the Calgary Flames on Saturday, January 21st against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Pelletier logged a hair under 7 minutes in his debut and fired one shot on goal.

Prior to turning pro in 2021-22 as a member of the Stockton Heat, Pelletier spent three seasons with the Moncton Wildcats, scoring 94 goals and 232 points in 182 games, and one season with the Val d’Or Foreurs, posting 13 goals and 43 points in just 28 games, as well as 5 goals and 23 points over 15 playoff games.
