Penguins Re-Sign P.O. Joseph to Two-Year Contract

The Pittsburgh Penguins announced that they have signed defenceman P.O Joseph to a two-year, one-way contract with an average annual value of $825,000. Joseph enjoyed a career-best season playing for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League (the Pittsburgh Penguins’ affiliate) in 2021-2022, posting 33 points (10 goals, 23 assists) over 61 games. Joseph also suited up for 6 playoff games, producing 1 goal and 4 assists in that span.

The 23-year old native of Laval, QC has suited up for 20 NHL games, all for the Penguins, and was originally drafted by the Arizona Coyotes in the first round (23rd overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft prior to being traded to Pittsburgh in 2019.
