Hockey Canada announced on Friday that Pierre-Olivier Joseph was among the 20 players named to Team Canada’s 2023 IIHF World Championship.
Joseph, a native of Laval, QC and the Arizona Coyotes’ 1st round selection (23rd overall) in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, and later traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins, enjoyed a breakout season as a regular on the Penguins blueline, posting a solid 21 points (5 goals and 16 assists) over 75 games, averaging 15:15 of ice time per contest.
Congratulations, P-O!
