Jakob Pelletier Signs Entry-Level Contract with Flames

The Calgary Flames announced on Monday they have agreed to terms with forward Jakob Pelletier on a 3-year, entry-level contract.

The Quebec City native was Calgary’s first round pick (26th overall) in the 2019 NHL Draft. He recently played his second full season with the Moncton Wildcats (QMJHL), potting 39 goals and adding 50 assists for 89 points in 65 games. These totals were good for seventh in QMJHL scoring. His strong play with Moncton earned him a spot on the Hlinka Gretzky Cup U18 Championship Team and a nomination for the Top Professional Prospect award at the 2019 QMJHL Golden Puck Awards this past April.

Congratulations, Jakob!
