Isaac Belliveau Signs Entry-Level Contract with Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins announced on Wednesday that they have signed defenceman Isaac Belliveau to a three-year, entry-level contract. Belliveau was selected by the Penguins in the fifth round (154th overall) in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.

Through 44 games with the Gatineau Olympiques of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Belliveau has posted 40 points through 44 contests (10 goals, 30 assists). Across four seasons between the Rimouski Oceanic and the Olympiques, Belliveau amassed a total of 149 points in 211 career games from the back-end (36 goals, 113 assists). The Fleurimont, QC native was named to the QMJHL All-Rookie Team in 2019-20 on the heels of a season in which he finished second among all defencemen in scoring (53 points) and led all rookie skaters with 42 assists.
