Roy and Langlois to represent Canada at U17 World Hockey Challenge

Hockey Canada announced its roster selected to represent Canada at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, Nov. 2-9 in Medicine Hat, Alta., and Swift Current, Sask.

Joshua Roy of the Saint John Sea Dogs and Jeremy Langlois of the Cape Breton Eagles were selected to represent their country in the Prairies.

The players will be divided into three teams representing Team Canada Black, Team Canada Red, and Team Canada White. The three Canadian squads face competition from the United States, Czech Republic, Sweden, Finland and Russia. The rosters include 56 talents from across the Canadian Hockey League, plus 10 players who have been previously selected in the WHL Bantam Draft as well the QMJHL Entry Draft.
