Poulin wins big at 2019 CWHL Awards Show

The CWHL held their annual Awards Show on Friday as part of the 2019 Clarkson Cup Weekend. The awards, presented by the NHLPA, honour the outstanding achievements of players during the 2018/2019 regular season.

After an incredible 50-point season, Canadiennes de Montréal captain Marie-Philip Poulin was the star of the 2019 CWHL Awards Show, collecting 3 awards including the Angela James Bowl for her outstanding performance (23 G, 27 A). She was also recognized for her leadership and performance this year, winning the CWHL MVP – her third career nod – as voted by the coaches and staff and the Jayna Hefford Trophy as voted by her peers. The Jayna Hefford Trophy was presented in partnership with the NHLPA by Karell Emard and Maria Dennis.

Poulin will look to hoist her third Clarkson Cup on Sunday, as the Canadiennes take on the Calgary Inferno at 12:00 PM.
