Lafreniere, Gravel and Six Others Invited to Hockey Canada Camps

Hockey Canada named its summer camp rosters for the World Juniors, U18 and U17 Hockey Championships.

Amongst the players selected were forward Alexis Lafreniere (Rimouski Oceanic) and goaltender Alexis Gravel (Halifax Mooseheads) for the World Junior try-outs, Pier-Olivier Roy (Gatineau Olympiques) for the U18 try-outs, and Joshua Roy (Saint John SeaDogs), Jeremy Langlois (Cape Breton Screaming Eagles), Charle Truchon (Quebec Remparts), Felix Paquet (Val d’Or Foreurs) and Charles Savoie (Saint John SeaDogs) for the U17 try-outs.

Brad McEwen (Whitewood, Sask.), head scout for the Program of Excellence, and Hockey Canada’s POE management group, selected the players for the three respective summer camps.
